Dow Jones Industrial, the most popular US Stock Index fell to its lowest close in 11 years on Tuesday. At close, the Dow plunged 250 points   to close at 7,114. The major factor for this fall is believed to be fears about a decline in business and consumer spending on technology. The other indices too closed at their lowest after 1997.
