High fee cost for B schools |

· There might be a slowdown across the economy but there is no good news as far as the students and their parents are concerned. This is because there is no impact on the price rise in the field of education. · The cost of courses has been rising and this will increase further in most areas from June as the next academic year starts. A prominent example in this regard has been IIM Ahmedabad which has also raised its fees by another Rs 1 lakh for the two year course. · While this specific rise will not have much of a impact on a large number of people what is important is that several other B schools are planning such hikes and this will hit the students badly. This is because on one hand there is less salary and jobs available for graduates and at the same time there is a higher cost that is coming in which means parents are squeezed from all sides. |
