Inflation Rate fell to a low of 3.36 per cent last week. This is the lowest inflation rate in the last 15 months and it is certainly a good sign. If the proposed reduction in the price of diesel comes about –though we feel it will not be announced- the rate may fall even further. This may come as a good campaign tool for the UPA as price rise was a major political issue a few months back.
